Encourage Customer Purchases

A number of discount schemes are available via the Discount Editor, including Coupons which can be delivered to select groups of customers via targetted email campaigns. Discounts can be activated or deactivated. Inactive discounts can be assigned to customer accounts and groups.

The Discounts section indicates the Start and Finish dates for each discount, along with a Coupon link if relevant. A Coupon link automatically enters the corresponding Coupon Code into the customer's Shopping Basket, ready for use.

There are a number of specific discount Types. Active non-Coupon discounts of the same Type must not contain conflicting products or categories, any product on the site may qualify for one discount of each Type only. Discounts which clash are deactivated automatically.
