Supplier Editor

Properties

The Properties tab allows you to assign a name to your Supplier. If the Supplier is a Drop Shipper, the email address you specify will be used to inform them of a new order and request despatch. The optional Account ID can be used to identify your account on any email correspondence sent.

Replenishment

The Replenishment tab enables you to indicate how long the replenishment will take from an order being placed with the Supplier to arriving back in stock. Optionally, a number of days can be added on to represent flexibility in the availability message.

The default behaviour when a product is either out of stock or not yet released is defined in Settings. This can be overridden for specific Suppliers.

Drop Shipping

The Drop Shipping tab enables you to identify the Supplier as a Drop Shipper. Notification of each order is sent immediately to their email address unless you prefer to manually review each order first. PDF versions of despatch notes can be attached to such communications, with the option of adding both the Drop Shipper's address and cost price for each item if necessary.

You are able to assign an order-level Shipping Surcharge and indicate whether all of the products assigned to the Drop Shipper should be regarded as having Free Shipping, especially useful if shipping charges are already built into product prices.

Products

The Products tab requires you to indicate which products should be assigned to the Drop Shipper.
