Creating your productPersonalised products are easy to set up on Bluepark. Firstly, you simply need to create your main product as you normally would, adding its title, price, stock level, images, and so on. Our How to add a product guide explains how to do this, if this is your first product. Adding your personalisationNext, you need to add your personalisation options. These are set up by using Options/Variants or Additions or a combination of both. Our Understanding Attributes, Additions, Options and Variants guide explains the difference between these and what they are specifically used for. However, we've put a brief overview below. OptionsUsed for choices such as Size, Colour, Length, etc and have the values of Small, Medium, Large, or Red, Blue, Green, for example. These can have different values for each product they're assigned to. VariantsCreated by the combinations of the Option values, such as Small/Red, Medium/Red, Large/Red and so on. These can have their own price, stock levels, weight, HS codes, downloadable file, and much more. AdditionsUsed for items or services that are add-ons to the main product, such as an optional gift box for a mug, engraving text for jewellery or an uploaded photo for a canvas print. These can have their own price and weight but cannot have stock levels. They also have the same values for any product they're assigned to. Our guides below explain how to set these up. How to create Options and Variants Learn how to set up options and variants to offer customers choices on products, such as Size and Colour. How to use and set up Additions Learn how to create different types of Additions for adding optional extras to your products for personalisation. Alternative ways to personalise productsOptions/Variants and Additions are used to add personalition to a product when the choices aren't available as products in their own right. However, if you have products that you already sell within your online shop that you want to add as an additional personalition option, this can be done either as a Bundle or as Addable Related Products. Creating a Bundle would only be used if you choose not to add Options/Variants and Additions to the main product. Whereas Addable Related Products can be used as extra optional add-on products, if the main product already has Options/Variants and/or Additions. Our guides below explain how to set these up. How to create a bundle product Learn how to set up bundle products to help increase volume of sales, as well as the volume of each order. How to offer optional add-on products Learn how to quickly cross sell complimentary products by offering optional add-on products to drive sales.
